There are many people that think since new changes of the search engines that article marketing is old news in Internet marketing business. Personally I think they couldn't be more wrong.

There is still a place for getting a great amount of targeted traffic by using article marketing, you as a business owner have to change how you go about doing it or refine your strategy.

Article marketing is not new but it's still another great form of marketing where your articles are placed on the internet for the purpose of promoting your products or services on your website, this form of marketing is to generate interest in your product or services through your website. This gives you credibility and you can be viewed as an expert in your niche. The advantage of article marketing is that it is really simple to do and does not cost any money.

However, there is an investment in time. Your articles need to be original, different and well written in order to attract your visitors, your readers must find your articles informative. Choose subjects that may interest your audience. Writing and submitting articles is an incredible way to get exposure and be found on the search engines. It is a great platform for marketers to post their content. Search online for articles directories that will accept and publish your articles. The best thing about these websites is that it is completely free to join and use.

Using real life stories is another way to capture your reader's attention. For example the health issues of being overweight and the benefits of losing weight this can be effective only if it fit the subject and useful to your reader.
